Japanese born, Violinist and Pianist. Maiko studied her Bachelor of Music in Performance degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, where she graduated in 2004. In 2005, graduated with Graduate Diploma of Music from Sydney Conservatorium of Music. During her degree, she has gained both her A.Mus.A in Violin and Piano and L.Mus.A in Violin. She has performed in many Masterclasses with acclaimed violinists.

Maiko has worked with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, The Metropolitan Orchestra and Eminence Orchestra. Maiko has been lucky enough to work with some TV shootings for The Bachelor and ANZ advertisements. 

Maiko has also performed with The Whitlams and James Morrison with Queensland Youth Symphony and international pop artists such as Kim Bum Soo at the Sydney Opera House.

Currently, she teaches at her studio and performs with the Sakura String Quartet at Weddings, Corporate functions and in musicals across Sydney and with many musical societies across Sydney.
