What is a quartet?
String quartet consists of 2 Violins, 1 Viola and a Cello.
Is a quartet loud enough for our event?
Generally, a string quartet produces a nice balanced sound and tone suitable for most venues and functions for indoors and outdoors.
Do we hire a quartet, trio, duo or a solo?
String quartet is the most commonly requested groups for Weddings and Functions. String Trio and Duos are suiteable for smaller venues or restricted space.
What happens if we go overtime?
Most cases we are able to work overtime and there will be extra charge for overtime - depending on locations and the circumstances of the event, the prices will vary.

When do you play at the Wedding?
- Before the ceremony as the guests arrive
- Processional: arrival of the bridal party
- Signing of the Ceremony
- Recessional
What happens if it rains?
If we are indoors, there is no problems and issues with the weather however, our instruments are very sensitive to hot weather, rain and sea breeze. If we do have some sort of shelters as such as under a Gazebo or a tent (event tents), we are happy to play.
If there is no shelters and left in the rain or very hot weather in Summer, we will require shelters and musicians will stop playing if it does start raining during the ceremony or an event outside. Please consider our precious instruemts - we do take care and look after them like our child!
Do you play at Reception?
Yes, we do play at the reception if you book us to be played at the reception. During the reception we will play at:
- Arrival of the bridal party
- Bridal dance
- during dinner and/or drinks (of your choice)
